- Why should i choose Silk Wedding Designs?
- Silk Wedding Designs was created to provide the highest quality service in artifical wedding flowers. Over the past few years we have created beautiful wedding flowers for many thousands of brides. We have trained florists ready to design your perfect wedding flowers, so please contact us to discuss your requirements.
- Are your flowers real?
- No, but they look real. We use only the highest quality artificial flowers in our arrangements. Our flowers are composed of foam, polyfoam, silk, paper and other artificial materials.
- I have some ideas about what I want – can you create it?
- Hopefully! Please contact us with your ideas of colours and styles, including any photographs & pictures and we will get back to you with a quote tailored to your bespoke requirements.
- When will my wedding flowers arrive?
- For domestic customers (UK) : Your order will be dispatched for delivery within 28 days from the date payment has been received. Delivery is normally 3 - 5 days from the date that you receive your dispatch email. Larger orders (over £150) and all bespoke orders (including wedding packages) may require additional time and you will be advised of this after we receive your order.
- For International customers (outside the UK): You should allow 56 days from the date your order was placed for your order to be delivered. International Delivery is normally 14 - 28 days from the date that you receive your dispatch email. Customs inspection and custom duties may also be payable on international orders and these may further delay delivery dates. We cannot be held responsible for customs delays and all custom duties are payable by the buyer.
- I love your bouquets – can you create something for me in my colour scheme?
- We can create bespoke wedding flowers in your colours on request. We can also add feathers, diamante, satin ribbon roses and organza ribbon to add highlights in your colour scheme. Please contact us with your requirements and we can provide a quote tailored to your bespoke requirements.
- My wedding is next week – can you make my flowers?
- Usually yes. Most of our designs can be created within 48 hours, however please contact us before you purchase. You will also need to select ‘Express Delivery' when prompted at checkout to ensure that your wedding flowers arrive in time for your special day! Please note that we don't hold stock of any flowers and all our designs are handmade to order. For all orders required within our usual timescales of 28 days we will need to agree a delivery date before we can confirm your order.
- Do i need to order flowers for everyone at the wedding?
- It is traditional for close family and ushers to wear flowers, however depending upon your budget you may wish to order simple buttonholes for your guests.
- Can i order from abroad?
- Yes, we would be delighted to take your order. Our website is set up to handle international orders and payments automatically. Please email us at sales@silkweddingdesigns.com to discuss your requirements or should you require any further assistance.
- How do you process my payment?
- Our website is configured to take payment via credit card, debit card, and for UK customers cheque and postal orders drawn on a Sterling bank account. All our credit & debit card payments are handled on our behalf by our secure payment provider PayPal. For your convenience, we also have the facility to process payments manually via our card authorisation form which we can provide on request. - How much do you charge for postage and packing (shipping)?
- Our postage and packing rates are charged at cost as a function of value, weight and volume and the delivery method that you select. These will be displayed by the website before you enter the checkout process when you input your postal address.
- For domestic customers (UK) we offer two methods of delivery: Standard (Royal Mail 1st Class) and Express (48 Business Hours from the dispatch of your order).
- For International customers we offer Airmail and Priority Airmail on request. Please note that these delivery methods are effected once your order has been dispatched which can take up to 28 days as explained above.
